The invention relates to the technical field of bridge construction, and discloses a prefabricated box girder multi-section cantilever asymmetric splicing system and method. The prefabricated box girder multi-section cantilever asymmetric splicing system comprises a first suspension splicing device, a girder conveying device, a second suspension splicing device and a lifting device, the first suspension splicing device is located on one side of a bridge pier and abutment and comprises a first truss structure, a first moving platform and a first lifting appliance, and the second suspension splicing device is located on the other side of the bridge pier and abutment and comprises a second truss structure, a second moving platform and a second lifting appliance. The second suspension splicing device comprises a second truss structure, a second moving platform and a second lifting tool. The lifting device is used for lifting the first suspension splicing device, the second suspension splicing device and the second cantilever units which are not spliced to the bridge abutment. According to the method, the safety risk in the construction process of crossing the existing railway can be reduced, meanwhile, the construction efficiency is improved, the construction time is shortened, and the method has the advantages of being time-saving, low in risk, saving, small in influence of the surrounding space environment and low in construction cost.
