The invention discloses a method for preparing a cementing material from copper slag, bauxite mill tailings and coal gangue. The clay with high adsorbability is used for adsorbing heavy metal ions, so that fixation and sealing in the later sintering process are facilitated. The coal gangue carbon can react with gypsum to generate calcium oxide for producing a cementing material, and bauxite mill tailings with high water content, high viscosity and more impurities are dried and calcined by utilizing residual heat energy to prepare the cementing material, so that comprehensive utilization of industrial solid wastes is realized.
