The invention discloses a construction method of a self-climbing type hoistway formwork system. The construction method comprises the following steps that S1, an inner cylinder formwork is assembled; s2, a self-climbing base is installed; s3, the inner cylinder formwork is hoisted; s4, the inner cylinder formwork is adjusted so that the lower end of the inner cylinder formwork can be tightly attached to the structure completion face of the elevator shaft, and the perpendicularity and the diagonal size of the inner cylinder formwork are verified; s5, a pre-embedded box and a through-wall lead screw are installed on the outer side of the inner cylinder formwork, and an outer formwork is installed; s6, a top cover is installed on the top of the inner cylinder formwork, and then elevator shaft concrete is poured between the inner cylinder formwork and the outer formwork; s7, after the concrete reaches the formwork removal strength, the outer formwork and the inner cylinder formwork are synchronously removed; s8, the self-climbing base drives the inner cylinder formwork to ascend to the pouring position of the next section of the elevator shaft; and S9, the steps S4-S8 are repeated till pouring of all the elevator hoistways is completed. The method is easy to operate, the construction efficiency of the elevator shaft can be effectively improved, and construction steps are simplified.
