The invention discloses a method for detecting a seepage channel and a seepage field of a dam. The method comprises the following steps: S1, firstly, detecting a seepage area or a dispute seepage area on the dam by using a geophysical exploration method; s2, a probe of the detection tool is used for collecting background values in the reservoir area of the dam reservoir, and the collected background values are recorded; and S3, reasonably arranging drill holes in the leakage area or the disputed leakage area in the S1 by using a drill bit, and drilling the drill holes to the leakage elevation of the leakage area. By collecting and measuring the potential value, the water level observation value and the background value of the leakage area or the disputed leakage area and integrating the results, the leakage channel, the leakage field and the leakage elevation of the dam body can be clearly known, accurate positioning is achieved, and the use requirement is met.
