The invention discloses an underground diaphragm wall joint water stop construction method which comprises the following steps: S1, excavating a first-stage groove section by using a grooving machine, protecting a wall by using slurry during grooving, and cleaning hard objects which do not fall off by using a wall brushing device after the first-stage groove section is completed; s2, a first reinforcement cage is manufactured, I-shaped steel is welded to the first reinforcement cage, and the first reinforcement cage is placed in the first-stage groove section; s3, a second-stage groove section is excavated through the trenching machine, slurry is adopted for protecting the wall during trenching, and after the second-stage groove section is completed, a wall brushing device is used for cleaning hard objects which do not fall off; s4, a second reinforcement cage is manufactured, the second reinforcement cage is placed in the second-stage groove section, then a grouting pipe is arranged at the inner corner, facing one side of the second reinforcement cage, of the I-shaped steel in the adjacent groove section, and grouting treatment is conducted on the second-stage groove section; s5, after all the groove sections are machined, a high-pressure jet grouting pile is installed on the outer side between every two adjacent groove sections so that water can be stopped between every two adjacent groove sections; according to the technical scheme, the water stopping effect at the joint of the underground diaphragm wall is improved.
