The invention discloses a novel method for prolonging the service life of a furnace roller of a roller-hearth heating furnace. The method comprises the following steps: (1) improving the adhesion and tensile strength of an adhesive; and (2) optimizing a thermal insulation layer construction process. The invention aims to provide the novel method for prolonging the service life of the roller hearth type heating furnace roller, the bonding strength of the heat insulation layer and the furnace roller metal structural member is improved, peeling is reduced to the greatest extent, the bonding time of the heat insulation layer and the furnace roller metal structural member is prolonged, the furnace roller burning loss is reduced, and the service life of the roller hearth type heating furnace roller is prolonged.
