The invention discloses a method for reinforcing a damaged bridge by compositely applying a thin steel plate and UHPC (Ultra High Performance Concrete), which aims at the local recovery bearing performance requirement of the impacted damaged bridge, utilizes the advantages of high tensile strength and elasticity modulus of the UHPC and high interface strength with existing concrete, fills the UHPC in an impacted damaged area and an undamaged chiseling area of a box girder, recovers the rigidity of the damaged area, and improves the rigidity of the damaged area. Meanwhile, by means of the shearing resistance of the interface of the UHPC and the undamaged chiseling area, the normal drawing force between the UHPC filling and reinforcing area and the box girder webs on the two sides of the UHPC filling and reinforcing area is converted into shearing force of the interface of the UHPC and the undamaged chiseling area, and it is guaranteed that the UHPC and the undamaged chiseling area can work cooperatively; meanwhile, by means of the advantages of high tensile strength and easy machining and forming of the thin steel plate, the thin steel plate is used as a permanent formwork of the reinforcing area while enhancing the tensile property of the reinforcing area, the reinforcing construction efficiency is improved, and the construction cost is saved.
