The invention discloses high-voltage switch cabinet equipment and a method thereof. The equipment comprises a main control module, a main control worker sends an instruction through the main control module, and the instruction is communicated to an intelligent control module through a bus; the intelligent control module controls the electrical control system to enable the high-voltage switch cabinet to be in a standby state, waits for an operator to unlock, and assists the operator in performing a power transmission test, a power transmission operation, a power failure operation, a handcart pull-out operation or a power failure maintenance operation which are confirmed for the second time; the electrical control system comprises a plurality of sensors, a cabinet lock module and a screen module. The invention further comprises a high-voltage switch cabinet equipment lock, and the cabinet lock module and the high-voltage switch cabinet lock need to be unlocked at the same time. The invention further comprises a high-voltage switch cabinet method executed by the equipment. According to the invention, major accidents are prevented through secondary confirmation at low cost.
