The invention discloses a high-voltage switch cabinet, which comprises a cabinet body, a cabinet door arranged on one side of the cabinet body, an interlocking operation mechanism arranged on the cabinet door, a locking mechanism for limiting the action of the interlocking operation mechanism and a background management terminal, and is characterized in that the locking mechanism comprises a shell, an electromagnetic locking mechanism, a control circuit board and a switch element; the shell is fixed on the outer wall of the cabinet door; the electromagnetic locking mechanism is installed in the shell and can unlock or lock the interlocking operation mechanism in the power-on and power-off state. The electromagnetic locking mechanism is connected with a power source through a connecting wire. The switch element comprises an electronic switch, a door magnetic induction switch and a manual operation button switch which are connected in series to the connecting wire to control the on-off state of the electromagnetic locking mechanism. According to the high-voltage switch cabinet and the use method thereof disclosed by the invention, the locking reliability is effectively improved, the operation safety of the interlocking operation mechanism is ensured, and potential safety accidents caused by mistaken touch are avoided.
