A plurality of upper inclined supporting rods and lower inclined supporting rods are evenly distributed on the locking ring and the sliding ring respectively, and the lower ends of the upper inclined supporting rods and the lower inclined supporting rods which are located on the same vertical plane are jointly hinged to a sliding base to form a supporting leg. The sliding ring and the locking ring are arranged on the overhead rod, the sliding ring and the locking ring can be assembled at the bottom of the overhead rod, the overhead rod does not need to be climbed, the supporting legs are evenly distributed on the periphery of the overhead rod, and gathering and scattering of the supporting legs relative to the overhead rod are adjusted through relative movement of the sliding ring and the locking ring. The method is suitable for removing overhead rods in urban narrow roadways.
