The problem that expansive soil expands when encountering water, loses water and shrinks is effectively solved, on the premise that the expansion rate is improved and the strength of the improved soil is guaranteed, the effect that industrial waste residues which are difficult to dispose are used as an additive is achieved, and the advantages of being environmentally friendly, economical and short in construction period are achieved. The improved expansive soil is used as a backfill material, the mass is light, and the stability is better than that of original expansive soil.
