The invention relates to the field of building construction, and particularly discloses a foundation pit excavation method based on unmanned aerial vehicle images, which comprises the following steps of: arranging at least three reference columns easy to distinguish around a foundation pit, respectively carrying civil-level non-measurement cameras by utilizing two unmanned aerial vehicles, and acquiring data of the foundation pit and the reference columns by utilizing an oblique photography technology; and then modeling the foundation pit, and correcting the distortion of the image acquired by the non-measurement camera by utilizing the deformation calculation of the two groups of data and the reference column in the modeling process, so as to restore the measurement model more accurately. According to the scheme, a civil-level non-measurement camera can be utilized, the use cost is low, and meanwhile the problem that civil-level products are not high in precision is solved.
