The invention discloses a method for producing building sand and tailing micropowder by using high-silicon tailing slag, and relates to the technical field of tailing treatment. The method comprises the following steps: drying, sorting, crushing and screening the high-silicon tailing slag, dividing the high-silicon tailing slag into building sand with the particle diameter of 0.08-2.36 mm, adding an agent into the tailing slag with the particle diameter of less than 0.08 mm, grinding to prepare tailing micro powder, and using the produced building sand as a raw material of a dry-mixed mortar factory. The produced tailing micro powder is used as an admixture of concrete; according to the invention, the high-silicon tailings are used for producing the building sand and the tailing micro-powder, a very good effect is achieved on mine treatment of the tailings, the produced building sand can be applied to building material products, and the tailing micro-powder is mainly applied to various fields such as concrete mixing plants and cement plants as admixtures, so that the demand quantity is large, and the production cost is low. The treatment rate of the tailings is higher, and the method is an excellent scheme for solving the problem of tailings accumulation.
