The invention relates to an electric supporting rod which comprises an outer sleeve, a first inner shell, a second inner shell, a first circuit board, a second circuit board, a brushless motor and a supporting rod movement mechanism. A first annular clamping groove is formed in the inner wall of the first inner shell; the first circuit board is clamped in the first annular clamping groove; a second annular clamping groove is formed in the inner wall of the second inner shell; the second circuit board is clamped in the second annular clamping groove; and the brushless motor is in transmission connection with the supporting rod movement mechanism. According to the embodiment of the invention, the first circuit board, the second circuit board and the brushless motor are integrated in the outer sleeve, so that the structure of the electric supporting rod can be optimized. Meanwhile, in order to integrate the first circuit board and the second circuit board in the outer sleeve, the brushless motor is adopted to replace a common motor, meanwhile, the size of the brushless motor is smaller than that of the common motor, the size of the brushless motor with the same power is smaller, and the occupied space is small.
