The invention discloses a self-leveling gypsum powder making method and powder making equipment thereof. The powder making equipment comprises a mixing bin, and a turnover assembly used for pretreating gypsum powder is arranged in the mixing bin; the overturning assembly comprises an oscillation mechanism for upward dissolution of gypsum powder at the bottom and an overturning mechanism for fusion of the gypsum powder; according to the self-leveling gypsum powdering method and powdering equipment thereof, gypsum powder and water are mixed in the mixing bin, and the oscillating mechanism and the flapping mechanism are linked, so that upward mixing of paste slurry deposited at the bottom of the mixing bin is realized, mixing treatment of the paste slurry is promoted, the gypsum slurry is uniformly mixed, and the self-leveling gypsum powdering efficiency is improved. The stirred paste is adhered to the inner wall of the mixing bin and is sequentially cleaned along the inner wall of the mixing bin from top to bottom by utilizing a scraping knife, and the edge of the cleaned scraping knife is removed by utilizing a removing knife, so that the problems that the mixing in the existing mixing bin is non-uniform and the residual paste on the outer wall is difficult to clean are solved.
