The invention discloses a mounting method of a steel truss girder rod piece, which comprises the following steps of: mounting turnover equipment and lifting equipment between a diagonal web member and a truss bridge section in advance, and driving the diagonal web member to generate certain angle deviation relative to the truss bridge section through the lifting equipment; the method comprises the following steps of: hoisting two adjacent truss bridge sections to avoid interference between the part, extending out of the truss bridge section, of one end of each diagonal web member and the other adjacent truss bridge section, and after the two adjacent truss bridge sections are hoisted to a mounting position and the diagonal web members are released by hoisting equipment, finishing mounting and fixing between the two ends of each diagonal web member and the two truss bridge sections. Therefore, the diagonal web members can be hoisted once along with the truss bridge sections, hoisting operation can be completed on the premise that hoisting interference does not occur, the stability of connection between the truss bridge sections is guaranteed on the premise of the size structure, the assembling and connecting efficiency of the truss bridge sections is improved, additional construction operation platform erecting is avoided, the operation applicability is improved, and the construction cost is reduced. The hoisting difficulty is reduced.
