A reinforcing steel bar binding platform for box type pier body construction operation is formed by mutually butting four L-shaped binding platforms, the L-shaped binding platforms can freely move through universal wheels, and each L-shaped binding platform is provided with one or more horizontal supporting assemblies with different heights. According to the rectangular binding platform, the butt-joint sleeves at the ends of the horizontal supporting assemblies are connected with the butt-joint connecting rods in a matched mode, when connecting bolts of the butt-joint sleeves penetrate through different bolt holes in the butt-joint connecting rods, the length of the butt-joint connecting rods stretching into the butt-joint sleeves can be adjusted, and therefore the overall size of the rectangular binding platform is changed; and the binding platform can be adjusted according to the size of the pier body so as to adapt to construction of pier bodies with different section sizes, and the applicability is high. The binding platform is easy to manufacture and can be produced in batches and recycled, construction pedals are laid on the horizontal supporting assemblies with the needed height during construction, assembling is easy, the operation range of binding personnel can be widened, perpendicularity inspection of the reinforcing steel bars is facilitated, and the overall construction efficiency is improved.
