The invention discloses a foundation pit support structure of a soft soil foundation and a construction method thereof.The structure comprises a plurality of first steel piles and second steel piles which are arranged around a foundation pit at intervals and inserted into the soft soil foundation, and the tops of every two adjacent first steel piles are detachably connected with a horizontal longitudinal connecting steel beam; steel corbels fixed to the side walls of the first steel piles are arranged on the vertical lower portions of the two ends of the horizontal longitudinal connecting steel beam respectively, the bottom of the middle of the length of the horizontal longitudinal connecting steel beam is detachably connected with the top ends of the two inclined steel connecting columns, and the bottom end of each inclined steel connecting column abuts against the corresponding steel corbel. Every two adjacent second steel piles are detachably connected with a surrounding purlin and a soil and water retaining wall which is composed of metal corrugated plate assemblies and inserted into a soft soil body. A rigid connection structure formed by anchoring a plurality of steel strands and connecting steel pipes is arranged between every two rows of steel piles. The inner row of piles and the outer row of piles are good in integrity, the bearing capacity is high, the safety performance is good, the work amount is relatively small, and the construction cost is relatively low.
