The invention relates to a trestle structure for widening a road beside a foundation pit and a construction method of the trestle structure. The trestle structure comprises latticed columns with the bottom ends fixedly buried in the bottom face of the foundation pit, and the latticed columns are close to the road beside the pit and are vertically arranged; the trestle beam is transversely and fixedly arranged on the latticed columns and stretches across the foundation pit, and the two ends of the trestle beam are fixedly arranged on the ground on the two sides of the foundation pit; the trestle plate is installed on the trestle beam and stretches across the foundation pit, and the side portion of the trestle plate is connected with the pit side road in a butt joint mode so that the pit side road can be widened. The trestle structure is additionally arranged at the position, close to the pit side road, in the foundation pit, so that the trestle plate of the trestle structure is in butt joint with the pit side road, the pit side road is widened, and therefore it is guaranteed that traffic transportation of the pit side road can not be interrupted in the excavation process of the foundation pit.
