The invention relates to the technical field of building construction, in particular to a coke quenching tower dismantling construction method under a narrow working condition, which comprises the following steps: designing protection facilities according to the sizes of holes on two sides of a coke quenching tower, and blocking the holes on the two sides by using the protection facilities; designing size parameters of an external scaffold according to the boundary dimension of the quenching tower, and setting up the external scaffold on the periphery of the quenching tower according to the designed size parameters; a breaking line is drawn on the quenching tower according to the design size, an air pick is used for gradually breaking along the breaking line from top to bottom, and construction waste generated in the breaking process falls into the quenching tower; and the safe dismantling height is determined according to the on-site safe construction distance, and after the safe dismantling height is reached through breaking from top to bottom, the remaining part is dismantled through a dismantling machine. The construction waste falls into the quenching tower in the dismantling process by manual dismantling in the early stage, so that the field occupied by the construction process is reduced; and later mechanical dismantling is conducted, dismantling efficiency is improved, surrounding facilities are not affected, and construction safety is improved.
