The invention relates to the technical field of asphalt laying, in particular to an asphalt laying device for highway engineering construction, which comprises a vehicle body, a tank body is arranged on a carriage of the vehicle body, an input pipeline is mounted above the tank body, an output pipeline is mounted below the tank body, and the outer end of the output pipeline can extend to the lower part of the carriage; an asphalt scraping plate is arranged at the position, close to the tail, of the lower portion of the compartment, a lifting device is arranged between the asphalt scraping plate and the compartment and can adjust the height of the asphalt scraping plate, and an asphalt uniform spreading device is arranged on the inner side of the asphalt scraping plate corresponding to the output pipeline and comprises a pair of stirring rods distributed annularly. The side part of the asphalt scraper is provided with a driving device corresponding to a pair of annularly distributed poke rods, and the poke rods are integrally driven by the driving device to rotate the asphalt below towards the poke direction of the two sides, so that the asphalt can fill the position swept by the asphalt scraper; and the bottom of the asphalt scraping plate is used for pressing and scraping asphalt spread on the road ground.
