The invention discloses a rectangular concrete-filled steel tubular column-reinforced concrete transfer beam joint and an arrangement method thereof. The joint comprises a steel supporting plate arranged between a rectangular concrete-filled steel tubular column and a reinforced concrete transfer beam, stiffening ribs below the supporting plate, primary mechanical joints on the supporting plate and column joint bars. The steel supporting plate is welded to the periphery of the outer edge of the top of the rectangular steel pipe column and fixedly connected to the steel pipe through the stiffening ribs, the first-stage mechanical connector is vertically welded to the steel supporting plate, and joint bars in the mechanical connector serve as column longitudinal bars in the height range of the reinforced concrete transfer beam. According to the structural arrangement, the steel pipes do not stretch into the positions, where the steel bars are arranged, in the transfer beam, and it is guaranteed that the beam longitudinal bars can freely transversely penetrate through the column positions; the steel supporting plate is additionally arranged on the top of the steel column to improve the shear bearing capacity of the column edge beam end; column longitudinal bars are arranged on the steel supporting plates to form large-size concrete columns, so that the bending resistance of columns in a node area is ensured, and beam column nodes are close to rigid connection; a sufficient number of primary mechanical joints are welded on the steel plate, so that the insertion operation of the column longitudinal bars is facilitated.
