The invention relates to the field of permanent magnetic ferrite materials, and discloses a method for preparing a high-performance permanent magnetic ferrite material from low-purity iron oxide red in order to overcome the defects that the preparation cost of an existing high-performance permanent magnetic ferrite is relatively high and the performance of a permanent magnet prepared from the low-purity iron oxide red is relatively low. The permanent magnetic ferrite prepared from the low-purity iron oxide red through the processes of ball milling, pre-pressing, pre-sintering, vibration milling, fine grinding and sintering has the performance similar to or even improved to that of a high-performance permanent magnetic ferrite material prepared from high-purity iron oxide red, and the cost of the low-purity iron oxide red is far lower than that of the high-purity iron oxide red. According to the method for preparing the high-performance permanent magnetic ferrite material from the low-purity iron oxide red, the possibility of preparing the high-performance permanent magnetic ferrite material from the low-purity iron oxide red is realized.
