The invention relates to the technical field of foundation pit supporting, and discloses a foundation pit supporting structure which comprises a first supporting assembly and a second supporting assembly, the first supporting assembly comprises a connecting part, an integrally-formed arc-shaped plate and a first supporting plate arranged on the inner side of the arc-shaped plate, and the arc-shaped plate and the first supporting plate are detachably connected through the connecting part; the two ends of the arc-shaped plate and the two ends of the first supporting plate are detachably connected with the first supporting assembly correspondingly, and a plurality of connecting pieces used for being connected with reinforcing steel bars are arranged on the outer side of the arc-shaped plate at intervals. The invention further discloses a foundation pit support building method which comprises the following steps that the reinforcing steel bars penetrate through the connecting pieces on the multiple arc-shaped plates, the arc-shaped plates and the second supporting assembly to be connected firstly, no gap exists between the arc-shaped plates and the wall of the foundation pit as well as between the second supporting assembly and the wall of the foundation pit through pouring, and then the first supporting plate and the second supporting assembly are connected with the arc-shaped plates; and foundation pit support building is completed. According to the foundation pit supporting structure and the construction method thereof, the foundation pit supporting structure can adapt to different lengths of foundation pits, and stress can be dispersed.
