The invention relates to the technical field of bridge drilling pile construction, in particular to a construction method suitable for drilling of an easily-collapsed covering layer. The method comprises the following steps that a drilling machine is used for centering the center of a to-be-drilled pile hole, and drilling is conducted to form an initial pile hole; a pile casing is embedded and fixed in the pile hole; a drilling machine is used for continuously drilling a pile hole section with a first length downwards from the lower edge of the pile casing, and a drill bit is lifted out for deslagging; mounting a retaining wall structure on the pile hole wall surface of the pile hole section; and the pile hole section with the first length continues to be drilled, and a protection wall structure is installed till the drilled hole penetrates through the covering layer. According to the construction method suitable for drilling of the easily-collapsed covering layer, the problem that in the related technology, drilling is conducted on the easily-collapsed covering layer, and pile holes are prone to collapsing through an original protection wall and a drilling method is solved.
