The present invention relates to an asphalt reinforcing material, and more particularly, to an asphalt reinforcing material which can be applied to asphalt pavement without adhesive layer coating and curing processes, and an asphalt pavement maintenance method using the same. The asphalt reinforcing material according to the present invention comprises: a reinforcing fiber layer in which a plurality of pores are formed; a film layer which is an air-permeable film layer or an air-impermeable film layer and which has a melting point of 90-130 DEG C and which is composed of one or more resins selected from the group consisting of polypropylene, polyethylene, ethylene vinyl acetate, polyethylene elastomer, polypropylene elastomer, polybutylene and thermoplastic polyurethane; and a non-woven fabric layer which is disposed between the reinforcing fiber layer and the film layer, is impregnated with an asphalt emulsion, and has a melting point of 50-130 DEG C.
