The invention discloses an eddy current damping system capable of amplifying damping. The eddy current damping system comprises a mass block, a bottom plate, a spring and an eddy current damper, wherein the bottom plate and the mass block are oppositely arranged in a spaced mode, and the spring and the eddy current damper are arranged between the mass block and the bottom plate. The eddy current damper comprises two lever assemblies which are oppositely arranged in a spaced mode, each lever assembly comprises a lever and a lever supporting rod, permanent magnets are arranged at one ends of the levers, the two permanent magnets are oppositely arranged in a spaced mode, and a conductor plate is arranged between the two permanent magnets. The two sides of the eddy current damper are each provided with at least one spring, a sleeve and an inner steel pipe are arranged in each spring, one end of each inner steel pipe is inserted into the corresponding sleeve, the other end of each inner steel pipe is connected with the mass block, and the end, away from the corresponding inner steel pipe, of each sleeve is connected with the bottom plate. According to the eddy current damping system, the damping force is amplified through the lever and then transmitted to the mass block, and the system consumes part of energy in the structure through inertial motion of the mass system and energy consumption of the damper, so that the damping of an engineering structure is improved, and the comfort level of a floor is improved.
