The invention discloses an eddy current centrifugal inerter damping device which comprises an upper sleeve, a lower sleeve, a ball screw, a ball nut, a movable rotating piece, a copper piece, a thrust bearing, an inner spiral spring and a magnet assembly. A ball screw is mounted at the top of the upper sleeve through a connecting bearing platform, a vertical sleeve rod is mounted below the ball screw, and the upper end part of the vertical sleeve rod is inserted into a screw core hole of the ball screw; the lower end part of the vertical sleeve rod is fixedly provided with a movable supporting piece; the movable supporting piece is arranged at the bottom of the lower sleeve through a thrust bearing; the ball nut is fixedly installed on the movable rotating piece and matched with the ball screw in a screwed mode. The inner spiral spring is arranged on the periphery of the vertical sleeve rod in a sleeving mode and located between the movable rotating piece and the movable supporting piece. A plurality of copper pieces are distributed on the periphery of the vertical sleeve rod in an annular array mode, and the copper pieces are connected with the movable rotating piece and the movable supporting piece through sliding cross arms respectively. By means of the structural design, the energy dissipation and vibration reduction device has the advantages of being novel in structural design and good in energy dissipation and vibration reduction effect.
