The passive window structure comprises a frame set arranged on the inner wall of the periphery of a window opening and a window body arranged in the frame set, a top beam is arranged above the window opening, a bottom plate is arranged below the window opening, and a mounting plate is fixedly connected to the top face of the bottom plate; and a plurality of ALC plates are arranged between the top beam and the upper channel steel and between the mounting plate and the lower channel steel. The mounting method of the passive window structure comprises the following steps that the frame set is fixed to the inner wall of the periphery of the window opening; and mounting the ALC plate.
