The invention relates to the technical field of offshore wind turbine foundations, in particular to an offshore wind turbine foundation and a mounting method thereof. The offshore wind turbine foundation comprises a plurality of supporting piles vertically inserted into a seabed and a prefabricated bearing platform poured on land, a plurality of inserting holes are formed in the lower surface of the prefabricated bearing platform, each inserting hole is used for being matched with the corresponding supporting pile in an inserted mode, a transition section of a wind turbine tower barrel is arranged in the center of the prefabricated bearing platform, and the wind turbine tower barrel is arranged in the transition section. The transition section is used for mounting a fan; when the offshore wind turbine foundation is installed, the prefabricated bearing platform is transported to an installation station, and each supporting pile is inserted into the corresponding insertion hole in a hoisting alignment mode, so that installation of the offshore wind turbine foundation is completed. According to the scheme, the installation efficiency of the offshore wind turbine foundation can be improved.
