The tower-crossing construction method can adapt to cable bearing bridge construction with the side span not meeting the overwater hoisting condition, the range of a side span construction support does not need to be widened, a transverse moving system and a synchronous pushing control system do not need to be arranged either, the construction system and installation platform design can be simplified, and the construction efficiency is improved. The support and foundation treatment work amount can be effectively saved, and the single-time main beam section hoisting weight is reduced.
