The invention provides a preparation method of a nano silicon dioxide fiber reinforced aluminum oxide aerogel composite material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing an aluminum sol prefabricated solution by using water, an alcohol solvent and inorganic aluminum salt; adding methyl ethylene oxide to prepare aluminum sol; adding a nano silicon dioxide fiber skeleton reinforcing material to prepare composite aluminum gel; carrying out solvent replacement on the aged composite aluminum gel on the basis of a tertiary butanol and water mixed solution displacer; based on a freeze-drying method, vacuum freeze-drying is conducted on the composite aluminum gel subjected to solvent replacement, and then the nano-silica fiber reinforced aluminum oxide aerogel composite material is obtained.The method has the advantages of being low in cost, simple in process, low in energy consumption, high in safety, high in product quality, capable of achieving industrial production and the like; the popularization and industrial application of the silicon dioxide fiber composite aluminum oxide aerogel and the composite material thereof can be promoted.
