The invention belongs to the technical field of aerogel, and particularly relates to a fiber-reinforced aluminum oxide-silicon oxide aerogel composite material and a preparation method thereof.The preparation method comprises the following steps that 1, organosilane, absolute ethyl alcohol, water and hydrochloric acid are added into a container to be subjected to acid hydrolysis, then ammonia water is added to be subjected to alkaline hydrolysis, and alkaline silicon oxide sol is obtained; (2) adding absolute ethyl alcohol and inorganic aluminum salt into a container, then adding the alkaline silicon oxide sol prepared in the step (1), and finally adding epoxypropane to obtain aluminum oxide-silicon oxide sol; and 3) shearing the fibrofelt, compounding the fibrofelt with the alumina-silica sol obtained in the step 2), and gelating to obtain the fiber-reinforced alumina-silica aerogel composite material. The fiber-reinforced alumina-silica aerogel composite material is supported and enhanced in mechanical property through the fiber-compounded alumina aerogel, and the aerogel can be prevented from being sintered at a high temperature, so that the high-temperature heat insulation performance is further improved.
