The invention relates to a construction method of a steel truss girder arch bridge. The construction method comprises the following steps: erecting a main girder; erecting an assembling bracket and a lifting bracket on the main beam; arch springing sections and a central section are formed on the assembling support in an assembling mode; the central segment is lifted to the designed height through the lifting support; and closing the arch foot sections and the central section to form the bridge arch rib. A high lifting support or an assembling support does not need to be built, the support building cost is reduced, meanwhile, channel passing or high-altitude assembling cannot be affected, the application range is wider, and safety is higher.
