The invention relates to the technical field of fabricated buildings, and discloses a novel stirrup and steel plate composite constraint concrete shear wall and a construction method thereof.The shear wall structure is formed by combining reinforcing steel bars, wrapping steel plates and concrete, and the shear wall structure is characterized by comprising stirrup components, reinforcing components and a wall body; the stirrup component and the reinforcing component are both arranged in the wall body, the stirrup component is arranged in the length direction of the wall body and has an intersection point in the wall body, and the reinforcing component is arranged at the intersection point so that the connection strength of the intersection point can be improved through the reinforcing component. The reinforcing component is welded to the outer wrapping steel plate. According to the shear wall, the stirrup components and the reinforcing components used for reinforcing are arranged in the wall body, the reinforcing components are arranged at the intersection joints of the stirrup components, so that the connection strength of the stirrup components at the joints is further improved, and due to the arrangement of the stirrup components and the reinforcing components, the overall stress performance of the shear wall is improved.
