The anti-cracking water-retaining mortar comprises the following components in parts by weight: 45-55 parts of a cementing material; 30 to 70 parts of a water absorption toughening material; 110 to 150 parts of fine aggregate; the water-absorbing toughening material is prepared by the following steps: S1, mixing anti-crack fibers with amino silane, and drying to obtain modified anti-crack fibers; s2, mixing the modified anti-crack fibers and water-absorbing fibers in water, and reacting to obtain the water-absorbing toughening material. According to the anti-crack water-retaining mortar disclosed by the invention, the strength of the hardened water-retaining mortar can be improved, and the anti-crack capability of the water-retaining mortar is improved.
