The invention discloses an intelligent modular resource recycle bin and an installation method thereof. The recycle bin comprises a recycle bin frame, a garbage recycling module, an operation area module, a square block module, a propaganda module, a canopy module and a node connection module, wherein the garbage recycling module, the operation area module, the square block module, the propaganda module, the canopy module and the node connection module are spliced and connected into the recycle bin frame. Through the arrangement of the recycle bin frame, all functional modules can be integrated to meet the multifunctional requirement; and the foundation adopts the concrete layer containing the waterproof layer, so that anti-seepage installation is facilitated. Through combined arrangement of the garbage recycling module and the operation area module, intelligent and reasonable throwing and treatment of garbage are guaranteed according to the bearing capacity of garbage cans and the stacking amount in an operation area; and through the arrangement of the node connecting modules, detachable connection between the modules and the recycling frame is facilitated, threading can be achieved through the node connecting modules, the strength of connecting corners can be guaranteed, and the direct integrity of the modules can be further guaranteed.
