The invention provides an electric penetrometer which comprises a rack, an electric assembly, a drop hammer and a sounding drill rod assembly, and the drop hammer is installed on the rack in a liftable mode; a lifting rod is convexly arranged on one side wall of the drop hammer; the lifting rod is in lap joint with the chain lifting plate and is lifted along with the movement of the chain lifting plate; the sounding drill rod assembly comprises a connecting seat, a sounding drill rod and a plurality of guide chain wheels; the connecting base is installed on the rack in a liftable mode and located on the lower side of the drop hammer. The sounding drill rod and the plurality of guide chain wheels are mounted on the connecting seat, and the plurality of guide chain wheels drag the chain; along with circulating rotation of the chains, the chain lifting plates are sequentially connected to the lifting rod in a lap joint mode and drive the drop hammer to ascend along with ascending of the chains, and when the chain lifting plates are separated from the lifting rod, the drop hammer descends under the self-weight effect and collides with the connecting base, so that the multiple guide chain wheels and the sounding drill rod descend along with descending of the connecting base. Therefore, the positions of a plurality of guide chain wheels can be adjusted when the drop hammer collides with the connecting seat every time, and the positions of the chain lifting plates separated from the guide chain wheels are adjusted.
