The invention discloses a water-resistant curing agent as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The curing agent comprises the following components in parts by mass: 45-55 parts of polyacrylate resin; 40-50 parts of a dispersant; 3-5 parts of a tackifier; 2-3 parts of a filler; and 0.5 to 1.0 part of an initiator. The curing agent has excellent curing performance and water resistance and is wide in application range. The curing agent is used as a soil curing agent, after soil is remolded, the instant contact angle of a cured soil/water interface can reach 150 degrees or above, the curing agent has super-hydrophobicity, the water resistance of the soil is remarkably improved, and the strength of the remolded soil is enhanced. And the curing agent is simple in preparation method and low in cost, can meet the requirements of soft soil repair, canal repair and the like, and has good popularization and use effects.
