Comprising two beam bodies and telescopic plates located on the two beam bodies correspondingly, an expansion joint is formed between the two beam bodies, and the ends, located in the expansion joint, of the two beam bodies are each provided with a supporting plate, a lifting base, a transmission device and a mounting groove; the supporting plate can slide in the height direction of the beam body. The top of the mounting groove is located between the top and the bottom of the supporting plate, and the lifting seat is arranged in the mounting groove and is in sliding connection with the mounting groove; the transmission device enables the lifting base and the beam bodies to be in transmission connection, when the two beam bodies are far away from each other, the lifting base can be driven by the transmission device to move out of the mounting groove, and the lifting base moves outwards to drive the supporting plate to move upwards. According to the bridge expansion joint, due to supporting of the supporting plate, a vehicle cannot crush the toothed plate, and damage to the bridge expansion joint is not likely to be caused.
