The invention aims to provide a pavement base material prepared from iron tailings and application of the pavement base material in order to solve the problems of an existing roadbed material taking the iron tailings as a raw material. The pavement base material consists of a cementing material and fine iron tailings, wherein the mass ratio of the fine iron tailings to the cementing material is 7: 3-9: 1; the cementing material consists of S95 slag powder and desulfurized fly ash, and the mass ratio of the S95 slag powder to the desulfurized fly ash is (3: 7)-(7: 3). According to the pavement base material, the desulfurized fly ash, the blast furnace slag powder and the fine iron tailing powder with the particle size smaller than or equal to 150 micrometers serve as raw materials, the desulfurized fly ash and the blast furnace slag powder are used for synergistically exciting the gelling activity of the fine iron tailings, an integral gelling system is formed, and the pavement base material without additional additives is prepared.
本发明的目的是针对于现有铁尾矿为原料的路基材料存在的问题,提供了一种利用铁尾矿制备路面基层材料及其应用。本发明的路面基层材料由胶凝材料和细铁尾矿组成,细铁尾矿:胶凝材料质量比为7:3~9:1;所述胶凝材料由S95矿渣粉与脱硫灰组成,S95矿渣粉与脱硫灰的质量比为3:7~7:3。本发明的路面基层材料以脱硫灰、高炉矿渣粉和粒度≤150微米的细铁尾矿粉为原料,利用脱硫灰、高炉矿渣粉协同激发细铁尾矿本身的胶凝活性,构成整体胶凝体系,制备成无需额外添加剂的路面基层材料。
