The invention discloses a mounting method of a Y-shaped steel pier for a bridge. A Y-shaped steel column of the Y-shaped steel pier is divided into two sections, the lower part is a Y-shaped section, and the upper part is a linear section; the installation method comprises the following steps that firstly, the steel column pre-embedded section and the pre-embedded steel plate are installed; secondly, a Y-shaped section of the steel column is installed; 3, mounting the steel box girder; fourthly, the steel column linear section is installed; fifthly, the straight section and the Y-shaped section of the steel column are in butt joint, adjusted and positioned; sixthly, the straight section and the Y-shaped section of the steel column are in butt joint and temporarily dismantled; seventhly, the lower portion of the steel column is filled with concrete for pouring; and eighthly, the linear section and the Y-shaped section of the steel column are welded. The problem of accurate in-place connection of the Y-shaped steel pier, the embedded section and the bottom of the steel box girder is effectively solved, and the butt joint precision and the welding quality of key stress parts of a bridge are effectively guaranteed; and the difficulty of high-place operation, the investment of temporary measures and the operation time are greatly reduced.
