The invention provides a unit body outer wall structure and a construction method. The unit body outer wall structure comprises a main body structure steel beam and a plurality of spliced unit body outer wall assemblies. Wherein a plurality of groups of supports are arranged on the main body structure steel beam along the vertical direction and are used for mounting platform weights; the top of each unit body outer wall assembly is provided with a plurality of adapting pieces used for being connected with the corresponding platform code in a position-adjustable mode. The bottom of each unit body outer wall assembly is provided with a plurality of hanging pieces used for being connected with hanging parts at the corresponding positions of the main body structure steel beam in a hanging mode. According to the unit body outer wall structure provided by the invention, the adapting piece which is adjustable in position with the platform is arranged at the top, and the hanging piece is arranged at the bottom, so that the mounting position can be adjusted to the maximum extent, and the mounting precision is greatly improved.
