The embodiment of the invention provides a copper-containing tailing resin-based artificial stone and a preparation method and application of the copper-containing tailing resin-based artificial stone, and the copper-containing tailing resin-based artificial stone comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of aggregate; 20 to 22 parts of resin; 0.3 to 0.4 part of a curing agent; 0.25 to 0.3 part of an accelerant; 1 to 2 parts of a coupling agent; wherein the aggregate comprises the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 5-35% of copper tailings; and 65%-95% of quartz sand. According to the copper-containing tailing resin-based artificial stone disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the copper tailings are used as aggregates to replace part of traditional artificial stone aggregates, so that the effect of enhancing the strength of the artificial stone can be achieved, the production cost of the artificial stone is reduced, a new thought can be provided for resource utilization of the copper tailings, and the environmental pressure caused by tailing stockpiling is relieved; secondary mineral resources of a mine are fully developed, and tailing accumulation reduction and protection are facilitated.
