According to the main technical scheme, the heating duration corresponding to a target steel rail set is determined, and the target steel rail set is any steel rail set which is located in a turnout area and provided with heating equipment on steel rails on the two sides; and based on the heating duration, the heating devices installed on the steel rails on the two sides in the target steel rail group are controlled in turn to execute heating operation in a specified working mode, so that snow covering the rail surfaces of the steel rails on the two sides in the target steel rail group is melted. The method is used for controlling the turnout heating equipment.
