The modular planting roof for the slope roof comprises a bottom plate used for being installed on the external slope roof, the bottom plate is provided with a plurality of modular green plants, each modular green plant comprises a shell, a soil layer and a green plant layer, and the end face of the shell is provided with a containing groove in which the soil layer and the green plant layer are sequentially stacked in the height direction of the shell; each shell is provided with a turning piece used for turning the soil layer and a drainage piece used for draining accumulated water flow in the soil layer, and the peripheral walls of the shells are provided with tiling plates used for green plants in the green plant layer to grow and tiled. The tiling plates are obliquely arranged near the opening of the containing groove, the inclination angle of the tiling plates is upwards inclined from the opening of the containing groove to the outer side of the shell, and each tiling plate is provided with a windproof piece used for preventing soil in the soil layer from running off in strong wind weather. The problems that in the prior art, a soil layer of a green plant module applied to a slope roof is prone to being affected by external rainwater, wind power, the inclination angle of the roof and other factors, soil loss occurs, soil water storage is too much, and single-side soil is compact are solved.
