The method comprises the following steps: weighing 6wt% of MgSiN2-YbF3 and 94wt% of beta-Si3N4 powder, and premixing to achieve the purpose of uniform mixing; the preparation method comprises the following steps of: ball-milling and uniformly mixing the obtained materials for 15-20 hours at the ball-milling speed of 90-120 revolutions per minute by using a high-speed ball mill as a raw material and absolute ethyl alcohol as a medium, and drying for 4-5 hours at the temperature of 65-75 DEG C by using a rotary evaporator; the obtained material is atomized through closed spray granulation, and uniform powder with the particle size being 50-100 micrometers and the apparent density being 0.85 g/cm < 3 >-0.90 g/cm < 3 > is obtained; putting the powder into a ball grinding tool for pre-pressing at 40-45MPa to prepare a ceramic ball green body, and cutting off redundant parts of the green body for shaping; the green body is subjected to cold isostatic pressing forming under the condition of 280 MPa to 300 MPa; the obtained blank balls are put into an air pressure sintering furnace for sintering treatment, sintering treatment is conducted for 1-2 h at the temperature of 1850-2000 DEG C, the nitrogen pressure is 9-12 MPa, and the large-size silicon nitride ceramic balls are prepared. Compared with an existing preparation method, the defects that in the sintering process, deformation is prone to occurring, and compactness is not achieved can be overcome.
本发明公开一种超大型轴承用超大尺寸氮化硅陶瓷球制备方法。该方法通过称取6wt%MgSiN2‑YbF3、94wt%β‑Si3N4粉进行预混合,达到混匀的目的;无水乙醇作为介质,将所得物料球磨进行混匀15h‑20h,球磨速率为90转/分钟‑120转/分钟,经旋转蒸发器65℃‑75℃干燥4h‑5h;将所得物料通过闭式喷雾造粒进行雾化处理,得到粒径在50‑100微米、松装密度0.85g/cm3~0.90g/cm3的均匀粉料;将粉末放入球磨具中40MPa‑45MPa预压,制成陶瓷球生胚,将生胚剪去多余部分进行修型;将生胚在280MPa‑300MPa条件下进行冷等静压成型;将所得毛坯球放入气压烧结炉内进行烧结处理,在1850℃‑2000℃条件下烧结1h‑2h,氮气压力为9MPa‑12MPa,制得大尺寸氮化硅陶瓷球,与现有制备方法相比,可避免烧结过程中出现的易变形,不致密等缺陷。
