The spraying structure is arranged on one side of the road, and the spraying structure communicates with the water outlet area; a rotating assembly is rotationally arranged in the water inlet area, a driving assembly used for driving the rotating assembly to rotate is fixedly arranged in the water inlet area, and a dredging assembly attached to the inner side of the filter screen cylinder is rotationally arranged on the rotating assembly. According to the sponge city road water storage structure, gravel particles/branches/weeds and other impurities in rainwater can be filtered, the water purity of the water outlet area is higher than that of the water inlet area, and therefore blockage of the spraying structure is avoided as much as possible, and the maintenance cost of the sponge city road water storage structure is reduced.
