A desert plant planting device comprises a seedling raising plate, a through hole is formed in the bottom end of the seedling raising plate, the sectional area of an end opening of the seedling raising plate is gradually reduced in the direction of the through hole, and a water-saving film is installed in the seedling raising plate; one end of each seedling tube extends out of the corresponding seedling tray, the seedling tubes are fixedly connected with the seedling trays, and the seedling trays are fixed to the ground through the seedling tubes; the power conveying assembly is arranged at the top end of the seedling raising tray and comprises a photovoltaic panel rotationally connected with the seedling raising tray, and an included angle is formed between the photovoltaic panel and the top end of the seedling raising tray through a lifting piece; the backwater collecting part comprises a collecting pipe communicated with the through hole, the top end of the collecting pipe is fixedly connected with a cover plate, one end of a backwater part is arranged in the collecting pipe, and the other end of the backwater part extends out of the collecting pipe and extends in the direction of the seedling growing pipe. The survival rate of desert plants can be increased, growth of plant seedlings is protected, resources can be reasonably utilized, energy waste is effectively reduced, and the applicability of the plant planting device is improved.
