The invention discloses a combined type drainage inspection well which comprises a well wall, the well wall comprises a concrete structure and multiple sets of steel pipe piece assemblies, each steel pipe piece assembly comprises multiple steel pipe pieces, the multiple steel pipe pieces in each set are connected end to end and define a circle, and the concrete structure is located on the inner sides of the multiple sets of steel pipe piece assemblies; cement mortar is filled between the outer side of the steel pipe piece assembly and the soil body; the cover plate is arranged on the upper end face of the well wall, and an inspection manhole is formed in the cover plate; the shaft is arranged on the upper end face of the cover plate, and the inner diameter of the shaft is consistent with that of the inspection manhole; and the well ring is arranged on the upper end face of the shaft, and a well cover is buckled on the well ring. The invention further discloses a construction method. Synchronous construction of supporting and the structure can be achieved, and the construction period of the inspection well can be greatly shortened. Meanwhile, due to the fact that the inner diameter of the excavated soil body does not need to be too large and is matched with the outer diameter of the steel pipe piece assembly, the excavation range of inspection well construction can be reduced, and the influence on the surrounding environment is reduced.
